We’re pleased to share highlights from one of our recent contributions to the refreshed Xemxija Bay Hotel, where we were entrusted with the design and manufacture of several key bespoke interior elements as part of their broader refurbishment.

Scope of Work

Reception & Bar Counter – A visually striking yet highly functional centrepiece, this custom installation features:

• Natural wood finishes and fluid curves that soften the space and guide guest movement
• Integrated bottle shelving for display and operational ease
• Two concealed access doors, maintaining design consistency while providing staff flexibility
• Durable finishes suited for daily use in high-traffic hospitality environments

Buffet Counter – Designed for operational flow and visual appeal, the buffet area includes:

• A custom-built service counter, ergonomically planned for guest and staff comfort
• Finishes that tie in with the wider refurbishment for a cohesive visual identity

Fire-Rated Room Doors – Construct Furniture also supplied and installed:

• 160 30-minute fire-rated bedroom doors, combining fire compliance with a refined, contemporary look
