Barbajean Restaurant

Completed in 2021, the Barbajean Restaurant project stands as one of Construct Furniture’s most distinctive restaurant project collaborations; a space that beautifully merges heritage-inspired design with contemporary craftsmanship. Working alongside the talented team at Mizzi Studio, who led the project’s concept and design, Construct Furniture was entrusted with the manufacture and installation of the bar, bespoke benches, furnishings, and wall panelling. Each element was crafted in-house, ensuring the highest standards of quality, durability, and precision. Our work at Barbajean focused on complementing the restaurant’s unique identity, balancing design integrity with function and comfort. From the emerald green fluted bar to the custom wall panelling and seating, every detail was meticulously executed to reflect Mizzi Studio’s refined design intent. The result is a cohesive and characterful interior that enhances the guest experience while maintaining the timeless charm of the surrounding Dingli context. It was an honour for Construct Furniture to play a part in this remarkable project, designed by Mizzi Studio and commissioned by Barbajean Restaurant, contributing to a space where design, craftsmanship, and culture come together seamlessly.
