Xemxija Bay Hotel

As part of the wider refurbishment of Xemxija Bay Hotel, Construct Furniture was engaged to design, manufacture, and install a selection of bespoke interior elements across key guest-facing areas, including the reception, bar, buffet, and guest room access zones. A central feature of the project was the custom reception and bar counter; a visually striking yet functional piece, crafted with natural wood finishes, fluid curves, and integrated bottle shelving. The design also incorporated two concealed access doors, allowing for seamless staff movement while maintaining visual consistency. All finishes were selected for their durability in high-traffic hospitality settings. We also delivered a tailored buffet counter, planned for both operational efficiency and visual appeal. The counter’s layout and materials were chosen to support guest flow while tying in with the hotel’s refreshed interior style. Finally, our team supplied and installed 160 internal bedroom doors, each 30-minute fire-rated to ensure safety compliance. These doors were finished to blend harmoniously with the hotel’s updated corridors and guest rooms, striking a balance between performance, safety, and design.
